Almost all the pundants had Barak Obama winning the South Caralina primary. I'm not sure anybody figured it would be this big a rout.
According to CNN, Obama took 55% of the vote. Hillary Clinton ran a distant second with 27%. John Edwards (who?) managed 18%. Most of them were hair dressers.
The win gives Barak the momentum he needs going into "Super Tuesday," where voters in 22 states will cast their ballot for the Democratic nominee.
This next week will be critical to the Obama campaign. It will be important for him to focus on his message and not to get drug into the mud trap that former president Clinton will surly have waiting for him. Personally, I'd ignore the Clintons all together and begin to draw the differences between himself and either John McCain or Mitt Romney.
Good luck, Barak, and congratulations.
