Let me take a moment to explain what happened today...
I have spend the last 3 weeks bustin my ass for 60+ hours a week, plus working on the weekend in the dispatch room. I was coming out of pocket to pay lease and gas. The only money I was making was from the dispatch job.
I had to do something. Suburban has let its cash business go to the dogs. I enquired at a competing company. Suburban management got wind of it before I even had a chance to say anything. They proceeded to fire Lori, who has busted her ass for them and pulled their ass out of the hot bacon grease on more than one occasion, as well as her son and my daughter who all worked in the call center. In my opinion, they did not deserve that.
I have several Facebook friends that currently work in that call center. I have one word of advice, watch your ass. I know of a couple of CSRs that have been on the company's short list that Lori has hung on to because basically she felt they were good employees.
Lori is a good worker. She'll bounce back from this. I'm a little concerned for my step son and my daughter, but they say things do happen for a reason.
As for Suburban Cab, they have a well documented history of fucking folks that fall into their bad graces. I will take a wait and see approach, but trust me, if they attempt to screw any of us out of monies that are owed to us, I will use every means at my disposal, fair or unfair to expose this once great company for the sham it has become.
